EUGY Octopus

Three hearts, blue blood, and a mind so spread out that each of its eight arms can do its own thinking the octopus is the closest thing Earth has to an alien, and it makes a cracking EUGY. This kit stacks the whole eight-armed enigma from numbered card layers, curling tentacles and all.

Ages 6+ Builds in about 1020 minutes

What’s in the box

• Pre-cut, numbered card slices that build into a wonderfully curly octopus
• Non-toxic glue in the box no scissors or extra kit required
• Illustrated instructions with genuinely strange octopus facts along the way

How it builds

• Glue the layers in numbered order and watch the tentacles take shape
• A one-sitting, screen-free build with a satisfying finish
• From the Red Dot Design Award-winning EUGY range, designed in New Zealand

The real thing can squeeze through any gap bigger than its beak and vanish in a puff of ink. This one, mercifully, stays exactly where you put it.

Fair warning: EUGYs are habit-forming. There’s a whole reef more where this came from in the EUGY collection and our guide to screen-free crafting covers why they’re worth the shelf space.
