EUGY Giant Weta

New Zealand’s giant weta is one of the heaviest insects on Earth a cricket’s enormous cousin that can outweigh a sparrow. It’s exactly the sort of gloriously improbable creature EUGY (a New Zealand studio, naturally) loves to celebrate. Glue the numbered card pieces in order and the gentle giant assembles, antennae and all.

Ages 6+ Builds in about 1020 minutes

What’s in the box

• Pre-cut, numbered card slices nothing to cut, nothing to guess
• A pot of non-toxic glue
• Illustrated step-by-step instructions with weta fun facts

Best for

• Bug enthusiasts this is the insect world’s heavyweight champion in kit form
• A quick, screen-free build with a brilliant “guess what this is” factor
• Pairing with the Kakapo for a proper New Zealand double act

Built, it sits on the shelf with the calm confidence of an insect that fears very little and it’s far better behaved than the real thing.

A heavyweight build at a featherweight price. Meet the rest of the EUGY family, and find out why we push card kits over screen time.
