Wild Science Mars Landing Survival Kit STEM Biodome Growing Experiment

The Wild Science Mars Landing Survival Kit gives kids aged 8 and up a hands-on way to build a small ecosystem inspired by the Red Planet. They’ll create Martian sand and “soil,” build a biodome, make a mini compost, and grow plants from seed while making their own plant nutrients and clean water. A booklet guides the way with seed suggestions, safe composting tips, and best practices for planting, plus a Daily Diary for tracking plant growth as it happens. Along the way, kids test water and air once plants grow, comparing “breath” versus air, with additional experiments covering UV radiation testing and the effects of fossil fuels.
