Oxford Diecast Post Office Telephones Ford Thames Van – 1:43 Scale

This model represents a Post Office Telephones Engineers Van in a dark green livery , it has the registration 699 GPO . It has a sliding side door feature (non-working) , detailed petrol cap , wheel hubs , door handles , roof rack and ladders .Ford had been synonymous with commercial vans, but took a great step forward in the light van evolution in the mid 1950s when Ford of Britain introduced the Ford Thames 400E. Over 187000 were made over the ensuing 10 years, before it was superseded in 1965.
