EUGY Tricera

Three-horned face that’s what Triceratops actually means, though pedants will tell you only two of the three were true horns. The EUGY Tricera honours a tank of a dinosaur whose enormous frilled head made up a third of its ten-metre length, recreated here in stackable card at a rather more shelf-friendly scale.

Ages 6+ Builds in about 1020 minutes

What’s in the box

• Pre-cut, numbered card slices frill, horns and beak, all accounted for
• A pot of non-toxic glue in the box, ready when you are
• Illustrated step-by-step instructions with Triceratops facts built in

How it builds

• Glue in number order and that famous frill emerges layer by layer
• A focused, screen-free 1020 minutes with a dinosaur at the end of it
• Collectable by design and the range has a Red Dot Award to prove it

Complete, it plants itself on your shelf like it’s defending territory head down, horns out, magnificently stubborn for something made of card.

Truthfully: it’s the sturdiest-looking build of the lot. Give it a Tyranno to face off against from the EUGY collection and here’s why we’d pick card kits over cartoons.
