Cararama Cararama Volvo H E Payne – 1:50 Scale

Volvo FH Fridge Trailer – H. E. Payne
H E Payne (Transport) Ltd found its roots back in 1938 when Harry Edward Payne began work as a coal merchant with a Morris Commercial 30 cwt truck, working out of Tempsford railway station in Bedfordshire. He capitalised on a local lack of transportation during WWII by providing a service to farmers, getting their produce to market. The company, headed up by Harry’s son David, together with his son Richard – has run a variety of haulage vehicles over the years. Volvo FH fridge vehicles form a large part of the fleet, operating from their 5-acre site at Wyboston, Bedfordshire.
