AK Interactive Wargame Color Set: Lava Effects (AK1072)

The AK Interactive Wargame Color Set: Lava Effects gives you four paints for convincing molten lava, whether it’s oozing across a base or erupting from a volcanic diorama. The hot tones sit against a dark cooled-rock grey so the heat really reads.

What’s in the set

• Tenebrous Grey for the cooled rock
• Dirty Red for the deeper, cooling lava
• Fluorescent Orange for the glowing flow
• Dirty Yellow for the hottest highlights

Best for

• Lava flows on bases and terrain
• Volcanic and Hellscape dioramas
• Brush or airbrush: they’re water-based 3rd Gen acrylics that dry matt

Work from grey rock through red and orange to a yellow core, and you’ve got a hot-to-cold gradient in an evening.
